Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that identification of government personalities in Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) report on sugar and wheat crisis is an example of self-accountability.
SAPM expressed these views during a press conference. She added that Prime Minister Imran Khan has started accountability process from his own party.
She further added that PM Imran fulfilled his promise of “not two but one Pakistan” by making the report public.
While criticizing Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz(PML-N), she added that PML-N gave subsidy of Rs22 billion, compared to Rs3 billion subsidy given by PTI government.
On the other hand, President of PML-N Mian Shehbaz Sharif has demanded action against people responsible for wheat and sugar crisis in light of newly released report of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on the matter.
